The main goal of our children's classes is to develop healthy young people with strong moral values. Character development is the highest importance and our classes promote children to be respectful and to use good manners. A person who treats others with respect and acts with good manners will do what they need to avoid conflict.
Children are taught exercises and techniques that develop strength and coordination and common sense techniques for maintaining good health. Each student progresses at their own pace and is always encouraged to do give their best effort. Helping parents, being respectful to others, doing their homework in school and helping others who need help are stressed every day. Children are also taught how to be safe and responsible in addition to learning self-defense skills.
As techniques are practiced and perfected, kids gain great amounts of confidence. Having a high level of confidence does wonders for self-esteem and when combined with cognitive and verbal techniques will help do deter bullying as well.
